The one on greek mythology and this introductory textbook on law. I do not expect you to necessarily enjoy the second one, but I felt it would be nice to include it.
It's the most well known, and what people tend to think of when myths are mentioned. Their role and influence in modern story telling is inescapable, and I thought it would be an interesting read as well. Something educational and entertaining would be good while you're recovering.
I like being able to spot how later works were influenced by them. In addition, I found the gods to be fascinating. They were flawed and sinned like humans, yet remained untouchable by mortals. The conflicts and implications were of interest to me.
