Were they trying to attack you?

Not just me. We were at a piano recital, so there were a lot of people. I was the only one who could diffuse it. Not even the police knew how.

How did you manage to do so?

But to be fair, a bomb that could be solved by solving a puzzle would be simpler than defusing a bomb, assuming that one knows how to solve the puzzle...

It would not require special training to do...

There were 40,320 ways to solve that puzzle.

And zero hints, I presume...
