DW killed my poll so...
Since new info had come out since the year I made the original opt-in poll, here is an essay!
This is just about stuff linked to her special power. If you want to see how you'd stack up via martial arts/hand-to-hand combat Read the stats and perms
How does it work?
In Sakura's world, one's vitality or life force, much like chi, "the Ra" or what have you, is the source of one's special powers, even supernatural ones. Sakura is a "Rare-type," someone with the genetic ability to purify or destroy this energy.
Purification
Physical contact with a person using a special power will halt their ability to use it completely. A ranged attack or something influenced by an ability (ex: propelled by super-powers) will lose effectiveness when it touches her. However, this doesn't stop ordinary physics.
X throws a fireball. Her body will not burn, but her clothes will.
Y uses an ability to push a brick wall at her. She'll stop the extra push, but if she doesn't punch through the wall already in motion, she'll get crushed.
Self-protection via her ability is innate and doesn't lead to the effects of over-use. However, a conscious decision to reverse abilities eventually will.
Destruction
This is only triggered by extreme trauma, but I do want to play with it at some point.
In this state, Sakura reverts to her original personality, completely unaware of concepts like the difference between good and evil or the value of life and indiscriminate of who she sucks the life force out of until they eventually die. She's like a child who innocently kills bugs because they don't know any better, except that the bugs are you.
It should be noted that a life force drain is not permanent: If Sakura is stopped before someone's power runs out, they can make a full recovery with food and rest, etc. Provided that they can get that close, a hug will bring her back to her default state.
Again, the odds of this happening in regular threading are nil. It will take some extreme camp plot or like a CFUW kill game to set it off.
What happens if she overdoes it, and how is that reversed?
It takes something like Nullifying all the power in a room (after) to do it, but when it happens, she shrinks down to doll size and loses her ability to negate power. The only thing that reverses this is "rare-type" serum, which is synthesized from Rare-Type blood. She keeps a bottle of this in her room at the dojo, and I'll just say camp would give her an infinite supply if need be.
So far, this only affects conscious decisions to nullify large amounts of special ability power used over a wide range. In a previous use of her powers, she removed a mind control effect on seven people with no adverse effect on herself.
While Sakura loses her powers in chapter 84 when Ogami's true power awakens, this has less to do with overexerting herself (because she didn't actually fight) and more to do with Ogami being half Rare-Type himself, which caused himself and others around him to lose power.
TWO ABILITY NEGATORS CONVERGE IN A YELLOW CORNFIELD, WHAT HAPPEN???
Outside of canon? Probably nothing.
Even in canon, exposure to another rare-types doesn't do much, though the only pure-blooded rare-types are all genetically related to Sakura. Nothing adverse happens in her interactions with other canon pure-blooded rare-types.
However, mixing just a drop of her blood with that of a hybrid like Ogami will cause a respectable explosion (enough to blow up a good sized table and take out the floor beneath it).
Are the effects of Purification/Destruction Permanent?
Nope! If she's hugging a person with a special ability, they can go right back to using their abilities as usual if she's not touching them.
An ability's influence on another person or an object can be dispelled completely, but the influence can be reactivated by the controller.
As previously stated, even a drain in life force when Sakura is fully awakened and in Destruction Mode can be restored over time, so everything is more or less temporary!
Since camp's got its fair share of god-level characters, I've included an opt-in poll option to diminish an ability's effectiveness rather than halt it completely for players who wouldn't feel comfortable with that. Please use the comments to specify what effects she would have on your character.
Much as I love ticky boxes, we'll have to stick to radio buttons this time, for clarity. Sorry guys.
Please note that this poll only applies if she comes in physical contact with your character/an ability and that all effects are temporary. Destruction-mode requires extreme trauma, so it would only happen during a halloween event or CFUW maybe and will be announced beforehand.
If you have any other questions, feel free to drop them in the comments section!

Otherwise, if we consider her unable to stop a spell from being cast, she'd be unaffected if struck by one. Canon has it's own magic equivalent: The source of the male protag's power are flames he received in contracts with the Seven Lords of Hell (Satan, Beelzebub, etc). He can't use his power when she's touching him, and his flames have no effect on her.

Sakura is likened to a God in canon, so she probably could put up a decent fight, but I would likely play that as needing conscious activation of her abilities and would make her subject to hitting her power limit.
Things like psychic barriers are rather iffy, so I'd rather leave that to the discretion of the other player. Her primary method of stopping someone's abilities is touch, after all; so whichever is more interesting/fun to play out is what I am most down for.

Though would that mean that Mewtwo's telepathy wouldn't work on her? :|a

If they are not touching, it'd probably more like a diminished effectiveness rather than complete negation.
In canon, she gets whacked a bit by someone who uses sonic blasts as a ranged attack, but was mostly unharmed. If she could completely neutralize it, nothing should have happened to her at all. idk if this answers the question D:
